I read police statements recently that contained guesstimated dates. It occurred to me that a daily journal would have been helpful to nail down some specifics about the time period.
I think it might be a good idea to live life with the belief that at any time your whereabouts or activities might be used against you in a court of law, and you should be able to pull out that diary to say exactly where and with whom you were with three months ago or two years ago.
Have you ever met a person who got one of those parking tickets from Philadelphia? What a fine-saver to pull out that little book to point to where you actually were when they wrote you that ticket.
